Dental Sedation

In order to alleviate a child’s anxiety during dental procedures, we offer Nitrous Oxide, better known as “laughing gas”. Nitrous Oxide is a very safe and fully reversible gas with absolutely no lasting effects. We also offer IV sedation on a case-by-case basis, depending on a child’s needs. We work with a group of experienced anesthesiologists and are able to safely complete all necessary dental treatment in our state-of-the-art dental office.

Extractions are done on primary teeth when they can no longer be saved by fillings, crowns, or pulpotomies due to extensive caries or abscess. When primary teeth are extracted prematurely, there may be a need for a space maintainer to preserve the space until its corresponding permanent tooth erupts to take its place.

It is a minimally invasive treatment that allows the resin material to penetrate demineralized enamel and fade the appearance of white spot lesions. These white spots can be congenital or can occur developmentally or after an orthodontic treatment. Whatever the reason is, it is a concern for many of our patients and we are glad to provide a solution.
