About Us

Going to The Dentist
Should Be Fun

From the play-area tablets to the prize basket, every part of a visit here is designed around kids. Parents get a team that explains everything; kids get a place they actually want to come back to.

Your first visit

Exactly what to expect — step by step

First visits can feel big. Here’s how ours go, so you and your child know what’s coming before you walk in.

1

A warm welcome

The moment you walk in, our front desk greets you and your little one with a big smile.

2

Play while you wait

Kids head straight to our play area — wall tablets and games make it fun from minute one.

3

Say cheese!

We snap a quick photo of your child — it becomes a reminder card for your fridge.

4

X-rays + a sticker

If they’re needed, we take quick, gentle X-rays — then your little one picks a sticker.

5

They pick it all

Toothpaste flavor, fluoride flavor, and their show — Disney, Netflix or YouTube — during a gentle cleaning.

6

Meet your dentist

Dr. Victoria, Dr. Gary or one of our pediatric dentists checks their smile and goes over everything with you.

7

Prizes & balloons

Every kiddo leaves with a toy, a goodie bag — and a balloon. Always.

8

The No-Cavity Club

Cavity-free? They join the club and get a certificate with their name and their dentist’s signature.

Before you go, we book the 6-month check-up and send you home with your child’s photo reminder card for the fridge.

Services

Our Latest Treatments

By using the cutting-edge research and tools, we make sure your time with us is as comfortable and stress-free as possible.

Oral Surgery

When your child or teen needs more than a routine visit, we handle it right here. Our oral surgeon performs wisdom-teeth removal and other oral-surgery procedures in-office, under IV sedation with our board-certified anesthesiologists — so there’s no need to be referred elsewhere. One trusted team, from first visit to recovery.

Curodant

An innovative, drill-free treatment that helps reverse early tooth decay and white-spot lesions before they ever become cavities — completely non-invasive and painless. Curodant is not covered by insurance; it’s $150 per tooth. Ask us if it’s the right fit for your child’s smile.

Dental Exam

Usually done twice a year, a dental exam is the first step to screening and diagnosing any potential issues that may come up with your little one’s oral health. With the help of dental x-rays and visual checks, we are able to diagnose and create a proper treatment plan necessary to maintain optimal oral health.

Dental Xray

Dental x-rays are recommended during dental exam appointments and is an effective tool used to accurately diagnose treatment plans. Our digital x-rays are known to be the safest way to quickly capture teeth and help detect any potential issues.

Dental Cleanings

Allow us to help teach your child the importance of good oral hygiene habits. We recommend a professional dental cleaning every 6 months to maintain optimal oral health. All our dental cleanings include polishing, scaling (if necessary), flossing and reviewing good oral hygiene habits with patient and parent.

Sealants

At Kids Dental Avenue, our main focus is prevention. Dental Sealants is a preventative treatment used to help protect your child’s teeth and prevent future decay. A sealant is a thin, tooth-colored protective coating that is applied on the chewing surfaces of molar teeth to help prevent decay on the deep grooves and fissures.

Fluoride Treatment

Fluoride is an essential mineral found in many toothpastes which is primarily used to remineralize the enamel of our teeth. Our in-office Fluoride treatments help do just that! During your child’s usual dental checkup appointment, we recommend applying Fluoride paste in order to strengthen your child’s teeth and help prevent future decay.

Composite Filling

When cavities are diagnosed during routine dental exams, they require treatment to prevent spreading. If a cavity is found to be shallow, they can be treated using dental fillings. Our tooth-colored fillings are a safe and effective option to treat dental decay and aesthetically preserve your child’s overall dental health.

Dental Crowns

For primary teeth, dental crowns are used when cavities extend too deep and become too extensive that the tooth can no longer be restored using traditional fillings. They are intended to cover the entire tooth structure in an effort to protect the tooth and allow for normal function. At Kids Dental Avenue, we offer a wide variety of dental crowns depending on each situation, including tooth-colored crowns!

Pulp Therapy

Pulp therapy is known by several other names, including: root canal, pulpotomy, pulpectomy, and nerve treatment. The primary goal of pulp therapy is to treat, restore, and save the affected tooth. A tooth may need pulp therapy if it has experienced extensive decay that has reached the nerve or has been injured by trauma.

SDF Treatment

A gentle, non-invasive way to stop tooth decay in its tracks. SDF is a liquid medication we brush right onto the tooth — no drilling, no needles, no numbing — and it takes only a few minutes. It’s a wonderful option for little ones, children with dental anxiety, and kids with special needs. Ask us whether your child is a good candidate during their next exam.

Dental Sedation

In order to alleviate a child’s anxiety during dental procedures, we offer Nitrous Oxide, better known as “laughing gas”. Nitrous Oxide is a very safe and fully reversible gas with absolutely no lasting effects. We also offer IV sedation on a case-by-case basis, depending on a child’s needs. We work with a group of experienced anesthesiologists and are able to safely complete all necessary dental treatment in our state-of-the-art dental office.

Extractions & Space Maintenance

Extractions are done on primary teeth when they can no longer be saved by fillings, crowns, or pulpotomies due to extensive caries or abscess. When primary teeth are extracted prematurely, there may be a need for a space maintainer to preserve the space until its corresponding permanent tooth erupts to take its place.

Dental Emergencies

We know dental emergencies can happen unexpectedly and in a blink of an eye, and we are here to help! Please don’t hesitate to contact us ASAP or seek medical attention right away if necessary.

Icon Treatment

Icon Resin Infiltration is a solution for white spot lesions on the permanent anterior teeth. It is a minimally invasive treatment that allows the resin material to penetrate demineralized enamel and fade the appearance of white spot lesions. These white spots can be congenital or can occur developmentally or after an orthodontic treatment. Whatever the reason is, it is a concern for many of our patients and we are glad to provide a solution.

Orthodontics

Orthodontic care guides your child’s teeth and bite into proper alignment for long-term oral health. Each visit includes a full evaluation, any needed imaging, and a clear review of treatment options and appliance care. We keep the process simple and comfortable for both child and parent.

Sedation & oral surgery

Bigger care, same gentle team

Some kids need more than a cleaning. We handle it right here — no referral, no new office, no new faces.

Sedation (general anesthesia) for young or anxious kids, with our board-certified anesthesiologists
Wisdom teeth & oral surgery for teens, by our oral surgeon under IV sedation
Flavored laughing gas — bubble gum, strawberry or cotton candy — plus their movie and cozy headphones
Braces with our orthodontist, under the same roof
